World of Warcraft Legion’s app available on Google Play Store

World of Warcraft has been a successful franchise since more than a decade, which is impressive. Despite the fact that it’s the biggest MMO game ever designed in the world, it has kind of declined in the last couple of years. To fight back this decline, the team released a new expansion with which they hope to revive the game and provide interesting new content. Though they are intending to bring back old players, it would be great if they could get some new ones too. One of the most important features they added to the latest expansion is the support for an app that officially accompanies the game. As such, you will not need to rely solely on your PC in order to get a dose of your favorite game. The app is called WoW Legion Companion and its publisher is Blizzard, of course. If you compare it to the old Armory app, this one brings much more advantages and features. For instance, it lets you track the active quests and other bounties your character has and you can even assign them and complete quests from the Order Hall. Basically, this companion app lets you carry on less exciting tasks while you’re on the go. This is great because it enables you to be ready to play the real game when you get to your computer and want to feel again the experience. Keep in mind that even though the app is free, you will be required to have an active WoW subscription in order to be able to actually play with it. It is useful since it runs on Android devices which have OS newer than 4.0.3, which is already quite old, but it enables all sorts of phones and configurations to be compatible with it.

Heh. I feel like an a-hole now. I’m actually hoping for a delay, because that app will put me in a disadvantage: W10M…. -.- As if that’s not punishment enough (have you SEEN telegram/whatsapp on that?!? URGS)

It’s not more full featured than the armory app…it’s different. Without the Armory app which has not been updated to work with Legion – you can’t look at equipped gear and look for upgrades without being on the game itself.

I like it, no need to log on just for the Order Hall Quests.

Wish Diablo 3 had something like this but then again its not exactly one of slActivision-Blizzard’s cash cows like World of Warcraft.
